Dry Yearlings and Does
Sans Gene Tootsie - $350
Redstone Nigel Gacrux *B X Sans Gene EF Clementine DOB 6/7/2024 chocolate and cream sundgau/swiss marked
ADGA Pedigree link HERE
Tootsie is a very pretty and correct June baby. She has been dam raised and handled since birth. She is friendly and tame, and enjoys pets and scritches. Like her dam, she can be a little timid when outside her comfort zone. Her pricing reflects that she could do with a little more people time. I'm very impressed with Tootsie and she has a spot on my show string, but could let her go a loving, performance-minded (milk test and/or show) home, especially if she can go with one of my other does available.

Sans Gene PN Layla -- kidded 3/31/2025 with twins. Lovely udder and teats! $450
DOB 6/23/2022 Dark buckskin with splashy white broken belt

ADGA Pedigree link for Layla X Walnut kids HERE
There is so much to like about Layla. She has a wonderfully high, wide arch and nice sized teats and her first freshening mammary is high and tight and a dream to milk. Layla should excell on the milk stand, and stylish enough to take to a show or two. She's a smaller, more compact doe yet quite dairy. A very sweet doe who enjoys pets and cuddles, and does best with a quiet, gentle approach. So much to like about Layla- this is a "cull until you cry" moment as I must cut numbers. Layla missed getting bred last year, and her pricing reflects she is a little late to the first freshening party, though as a late june born doe she'll still freshen as a 2 year old. Layla will be on milk test here and may attend a show or two while she is looking for her next family.
Does do so much better if they can rehome with a companion, and especially true if they are lactating. So Layla is being offered on a competitive package deal with another doe, or kid (doe or wether).

Sans Gene Joy $350 - CONFIRMED BRED to Sans Gene E Walnut, due 5/1/2025
Little Joy Joy is an August 2023 kid. Her dam had lovely general appearance and dairy strength. Another I'd hold onto if I didn't really need to cut numbers. She is tame, will come up for pets, but a little shy- though she warms up pretty fast when given regular attention or when the pushy attention hogs aren't around! Joy carries well known foundational breeding up close in her pedigree with 2+year extended lactations on both sides. Joy will need to go with a friend - and we have lots of friends in all price ranges to choose from! - or after kidding with one or more of her kids. We can even do a mom+babies package deal, if Joy is reserved before kidding. Homes currently on milk test are especially encouraged!

Other Does
Hyacinth, DOB June 2022 - Hyacinth is a small doe and will likely stay small. She is wide enough in the hips and big enough to have kids, but I'd just as soon rehome her as a pet. She is a friendly and affectionate girl. $200 without papers.
Hyacinth and Foxy, wo listed below, would be a great together and will discount for the pair!
Foxy - DOB April 2023 - Foxy is a very pretty, very friendly chamoise yearling with blue eyes. She has a small extra teat on her mammary that should not interfere with milking. While this type of teat defect does not disqualify a doe from registration, it is a fault that should be considered carefully in registered stock. Foxy is offered $200 without papers. Foxy is a personal favorite and I'll be a little picky on where she goes. I'll be quite happy to have her be a treasured pet goatie that isn't bred. Love to see her go with Hyacinth, above.
Older ladies -
I have a few does I've chosen to retire from breeding that would make the most wonderful farm companions. While they will always have a home here, I would place them in an adoptive home where they would get lavished with love and attention. Because they are more mature, they are less busy than younger goats, content to munch their hay, lie in the sun, or hang out with you on the porch with their head in your lap. We are quite experienced at caring for aging goats now, and find that it's actually much easier than caring for aging house pets, and of course we will always be there to support adopters. Adoption fee is very minimal, and exists to help cover costs in the case the doe(s) must be returned to us. So if a couple of sweet gentle ladies sound like a good fit to you, we'd love to talk with you!
